On March 29, 2024, we gathered for a Shariah Committee Meeting at Sharlife's office. Our Shariah Advisor, Ustaz Fauwaz bin Fadzil, and our committee members covered several topics to ensure our services adhere to Shariah principles.
Topics discussed included the provision of eggs freezing services, the application of Shariah guidelines to memecoins, and the determination of zakat on memecoins. Additionally, we delved into the Shariah guidelines for AI projects, particularly in the context of developing AI for the deceased.
We also explored the Shariah status for cryptocurrencies exchange platform and swap services platforms that accommodating both Shariah-compliant and non-compliant tokens, along with the classification of cryptocurrency as "fulus" within Shariah frameworks.
We hope these discussions lead to meaningful advancements in our services while remaining aligned with Shariah principles.
